ATS Components has returned to service nearly 900 Cabin Air Inlets during the last six years while working with Boeing/Aviall to help mitigate the initial challenges related to the lip-skin heater for this unit.
-The pricing for minor or major repair includes compliance with AD 2018-17-3 to address chafing of wire bundles
-In the event the customer required date may not be met for any reason, ATS will provide an estimated ship date for the unit in question and will offer an exchange unit (free of charge) to allow Customer to evaluate and mitigate at their discretion any potential impact to operations
-Warranty Administration - If it is determined that the heater lip has failed within the Customer’s warranty period with Boeing, ATS will act on behalf of Customer and submit a warranty request on the heater lip.
