Mike Contratto has been in the aviation industry for over 35 years with Chromalloy and prior with Pratt & Whitney. Mr. Contratto currently serves in the Business Strategy Group having both internal and external responsibilities to develop and market the most impactful solutions for customers worldwide. Mr. Contratto is a FAA DER since 1994 with expertise in part design, service experience, failure modes, and repair development. Mr. Contratto helped charter Chromalloy’s entry into DER Repair solutions and the leveraging into PMA solutions empowering worldwide customers with choices in maintenance. Mr. Contratto earned his BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a MS degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
