Developed for use in the aerospace industry, CLEAN+ Biodegradable Aircraft Exterior Cleaner (ACTASOL) is an eco-friendlier substitute for methyl ethyl ketone (M.E.K.); 1,1,1-Trichloroethane; Toluene; and blends of M.E.K. and toluene. ACTASOL was specialty formulated, making major improvements in the Occupational Health and Safety standards and is both biodegradable and environmentally safe. ACTASOL is made for general cleaning and degreasing and as a corrosion inhibiting compound remover (CiC). It is formulated as a biodegradable cleaner to be used as a direct replacement to typical mineral spirits, thinners, and chlorinated solvents. The use of ACTASOL reduces risks of hazardous chemical spills, eliminates most hazardous waste disposal costs, and eliminates the health hazards associated with traditional solvents.
