The CEBACS is the next evolution of our EBA (Electronic Battery Analyzer) Capacitance Test Box. It uses the same analyzer and software as the EBA built in with a dedicated PC and charger. This allows for charging a power supply/battery while testing and monitoring another one. Specifically designed to measure capacitance of smaller standby power supplies and battery packs, it is capable of supplying up to a 100 watt load for discharge/resistance tests. It can perform tests up to 4.1-amps for 24-volt units and up to 8.2 amps for 12-volt units in an hour. The software allows for testing at higher C ratings and will calculate proper capacitance accordingly (e.g., a 24 volt 8ah(192 watts/hr) battery can be tested at 4 amps(96 watts/hr) for 2 hours passing with 80% capacity at 96 minutes).
