A call came in to transport a massive Bombardier fuselage across the country. At PGL, we live for logistics challenges like this.
Our aero team mapped out the 1,400 mile journey and prepped the oversized 20,000 lb, 14x17 ft load, building custom cribs and lining up cranes. Permits? Secured across 4 states. Escorts? Lined up.
With the cargo secured, the cross-country odyssey began. For 3 days, our drivers navigated highways from California through Arizona, New Mexico and into Texas.
The epic journey culminated in a successful delivery to the client's facility for aircraft training. Just another day moving the biggest, bulkiest freight!
